Title: Deliver Delay5/2/2013 9:33:11 AM
Inaka's is some of the best sushi around and reasonably priced. We order delivery often and the food is great. But on a busy night delivery slows to a crawl. We've waited over 1 hour, 1.25 hours on multiple occasions. We order online and are never alerted about the delay. And we we've never gotten anything more than a "very sorry, we're busy." My partner doesn't want to order here any more. Good sushi and they seem like nice people, but don't be surprised by the wait.

Title: unprofessional delivery representative4/24/2015 1:04:34 PM
To whom it may concern, I have been a loyal customer to your establishment for the past few months and have spent quite a bit. I've had an unpleasant experience with your delivery representative on many occasions who is rude, and have mentioned this during my last transaction. After a few weeks, I decided to place an order today April 24. The driver today, someone new seemed unpleasant once again and after tipping the gentleman today I didn't even get a thank you. He just snatched the money and walked out. Its unfortunate as I do enjoy the food, but will never order again from Inaka as I am continued to being treated poorly.

Title: Non Monetary Donation3/27/2013 9:19:33 AM
My name is Brittany Fleming and I work for a company called iAdventure.com. We will be partnering with TOMS Shoes for a charity event Tuesday, April 16th called "One Day Without Shoes". A global event to raise awareness about children's health and education issues. The idea is simple- Remove your shoes and experience what it's like to not have the money to afford simple luxuries we take for granted every day.The event will begin in Times Square and we will march without shoes through the city streets of Manhattan to our final destination- The after party! Here we will dance the night away while raising money for this great cause- Shoes for children in impoverished countries. I wanted to reach out to you about potentially providing a non monetary donation for the event's silent auction. Every dollar we collect will be donated to the cause. We will link your company name on all press and promotional outreach and labeled as one of the events sponsors. Also of course, you and all your contacts are invited to participate in the event!Check out the video below to see what it's all about! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded

Be careful of their online ordering website, http://inakany.com. The menu and the prices are not accurate - for example, if you order the Sushi lunch bar special, which is supposed to come with 5 pieces of sushi and one california roll, you get a Sushi bento box instead. I complained about this to Inaka, and she brushed aside my complaints and told me to take them to Chinese Menu, their online vendor. Rude and ridiculous. They can also take up to 90 minutes to deliver on weekends. Recently, the sushi they deliver has become soggy, perhaps because they've been sitting in the delivery vehicle for too long.I used to like Inaka because of the quality of their food, reasonable prices and reasonable delivery times, but it's been a couple of extremely disappointing experiences. Their customer service has generally been brusque and inappropriate.

I can't believe that this place has been here the whole time I've been in Brooklyn and I never tried it sooner! All the bento boxes I've been missing...I came here twice with my parents over the past 5 days. We each ordered the lunch special and there was TONS of food. The lunch specials cost $8.50 and each comes with miso soup, salad, a 6 piece california roll, and rice. There are quite a few options--I ordered the teriyaki beef the first time and the tonkatsu the second time. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The beef was cooked to order, the tonkatsu breading was satisfactorily crispy, and the pork itself was not tough or anything. The meal also came with hot tea. I also sampled my parents' tempura both times and it was quite good. The service is excellent.Delivery is available through seamless or by calling the restaurant directly (if you call directly, there is a $10 minimum, but on the take-out menu they charge $1 for the rice, so ordering the bento box lunch special Mon-Fri will put you just over $10 when they add in the tax). This place is a great find!
